The work of the Area Agency on Aging (AAA) is
mandated by requirements under the Older Americans Act as
amended. Along with the operations in relationship to the
implementation of services funded through the Home and
Community Care Block Grant (HCCBG), the AAA provided direct
support and services through three programs: Family
Caregiver Support Program, Long Term Care Ombudsman Program,
and Project C.A.R.E (Caregivers Alternative to Running on
Empty).
